I will be sponsoring a Scamathon in the next several weeks where contributions can be made for the website. Those who feel so inclined can email me their correspondences with the Lads. Here's a few playing rules:
1. Must have notable public figure as main character
2. Must get pictures!!!! We need to see who you are fucking with
3. Keep it fun and never use your real email address with these guys -- use Hotmail or Yahoo.
4.Never talk on the phone with these guys. I have an internet voicemail system for messages and efax for documents (if someone could tell me how to convert a GSM audio file to a WAV or MP3, I'd greatly appreciate it. I have audio for Tobi that's just sitting here.)
5. Never divulge who you are or where you are from -- if you get nervous, get out!
6. Try to put everything into a word doc, including pictures and any other tasties you may have.
7. Remember, everything these guys do is a scam, Period!! That is the only rule. If you can remember that rule, you'll be alright.
I will pick the best submission and publish it along with the top five. The best submission gets a custom designed 'Lads' pack (t-shirt, mug, mousepad) for your contribution. And, if I'm feeling generous, a weeks vacation at my mansion on St Croix (sic). This website, nor I, will be held responsible for any situations that you get into. So, if you have to send out a chuck of cash, write me and I will tell you where to wire the money.
